Barrie responded to a to a south end residence in regards to a domestic dispute with information that a 43-year old female was assaulting her husband. When police arrived on scene they found the husband outside and were advised that the female had broken into the husband’s gun cabinet had taken a gun out in the process of the dispute and was still in the residence with the gun. Police were able to locate the female in the residence and she complied with officers and put the gun down.
She was taken into custody without incident. She was transported to the station where she was held for bail. She is charged with Domestic Assault, Domestic Mischief and Assault with a Weapon.

Police were called to a west end residence in regards to a domestic assault. When on scene they found that a 37-year old male was intoxicated and had become aggressive and assaulted his girlfriend and smashed a door in the residence during the argument.
The male was arrested and transported to the station. He will appear for bail tomorrow on charges of Domestic Mischief, Domestic Assault and Breach Probation.
