At 8:55pm emergency crews responded to the intersection of 10th Street West and 9th Avenue West for a two vehicle crash.
A 2000 Toyota Echo travelling eastbound 10th Street West hydroplaned into the westbound lane and struck a 2008 Ford pickup truck that was travelling westbound 10th Street West through the intersection at 9th Avenue West.
The driver and 3 occupants in the Toyota Echo were transported to hospital and treated for non life threatening injuries. The driver of the pickup truck was not injured.
Both vehicles were damaged extensively and had to be towed from the intersection.
Heavy rain was determined to be a contributing factor in the crash and as a result no charges have been laid.
