(Ottawa) — On Sunday, August 9th, 2015 at approx. 20:00hrs the Ottawa Police Service along with Ottawa Fire and Paramedics responded to a possible drowning in the O’keefe Court area. The immediate area where the swimmer was last seen was searched and witnesses spoken to and as a result the Ottawa Marine and Dive Unit attended the scene and commenced a search for the individual. On Monday, August 10th, 2015 at approx. 0330hrs the individual was recovered. At this time the identity of the victim will not be released to the public until next of kin are spoken to.
