Barrie Police Called Regarding Donut Dispute

On Thursday, August 13, 2015, at 2:30 p.m., police responded to a residence on Ross Street, City of Barrie, after receiving a call that a male had been stabbed.

After further investigation police determined that a stabbing had not occurred. Although a verbal argument, which led into a physical altercation between two males residing at the residence had taken place.

The males had been arguing over donuts, yes donuts! The 18-year-old male had been holding scissors at the time and as a result of the altercation a 25-year-old male received a superficial scratch to his face.

Neither male complained of the altercation and did not want any further police involvement.

Both males were cautioned for their behavior and left to enjoy their donuts.
