Break and enter
On August 18, 2015 at 12:43 p.m., the Guelph Police went to a Dublin Street residence to investigate a break and enter. The culprit(s) entered the shed sometime overnight and stole two bicycles.

Theft and property damage
On August 18, 2015 at 8:29 a.m., the Guelph Police went to a business on Silvercreek Parkway North to investigate the report of theft and damage. The culprit(s) stole copper wire and two solar panels from the roof of the business sometime overnight. Eight other solar panels were damaged beyond repair.

Thefts
On August 18, 2015 the Guelph Police received multiple reports of thefts from residential and commercial properties. Bicycles were reported stolen from the Old Quebec Street Mall, a business on Edinburgh Road North and a fitness center on Eramosa Road. A residence on Inverness Drive reported the theft of a large dog crate from their front porch overnight. Police also received reports of theft from vehicle on Commercial Street and Vancouver Drive.

Theft of motor vehicle
On August 19, 2015 at 6:08 a.m., the Guelph Police received the report of a stolen motor vehicle. The owner had left his truck running while he went into a store on Willow Road. He came out to see his truck being driven out of the parking lot, last seen heading towards the Hanlon Expressway.
The truck is a gold 2002 Dodge pickup truck, licence plate AL19598.

Medical emergency downtown
On August 19, 2015 at 6:00 a.m., the Guelph Police and GWEMS were called to the fountain area of downtown for a medical emergency. Police are temporarily holding the scene while the incident is investigated. This will not affect traffic flow in the downtown.
