(PERTH EAST, ON) – On July 12, 2019 at approximately 9:00 p.m., a member of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Perth County detachment observed a motor vehicle travelling on Line 29, east of Stratford. The vehicle was determined to be travelling at a rate of speed that exceeded the posted speed limit and was stopped by police.
While speaking with the male driver, the officer determined that the driver’s ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired. The male was arrested and transported to the Sebringville OPP detachment for further testing.
Judestan IGNATIOUS, 32-years-old, of Perth East was arrested and charged with;
Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
He is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Stratford on July 29, 2019 to answer the charges.
The dangers of driving while impaired are well known and pose a significant risk to public safety
