On Friday August 28, 2015, at 2:40 a.m., Police attended the Barrie City marina after receiving a call from security advising two males had damaged a vehicle parked at the marina.
Upon arrival police located the two intoxicated males and observed a Corvette with extensive damage. The windshield had been smashed as a result of a rock thrown through it.
The two eighteen-year-old, Barrie males were arrested and charged with mischief over $5,000. Both males were later released when sober on a promise to appear with a court date in September.

On the above date and time the victim was walking along the Davidson Street and Parkdale Road area when he was approached by 2 youths and 2 adults.
The four parties indicated they had a weapon and demanded the victims clothes, cell phone and wallet.
All four parties were located by police and charged with Robbery.
The victim was not injured.

In the early morning of August 30th, 2015 police were called to a residence in the Cundles and Bayfield Street area in regards to a domestic dispute.
Investigation revelaed the 28 year old female victim had been assaulted by her ex-boyfrield. During the assault the male uttered threats to the female.
A 39 year old male was subsequently arrested for assault, utter threats, and fail to comply with probation.
The male was held pending a bail hearing.

The Barrie Police Street Crime Unit commenced an investigation into a 70-year-old male believed to be dealing crack cocaine throughout the City of Barrie.
On Sunday, August 30th, 2015, the Street Crime Unit arrested the 70-year-old male, and a 55-year-old Barrie female for drug related offences.
The male has been charged with; possession for the purpose, trafficking cocaine x2, possession of cocaine and possession of marijuana. A warrant was executed on the males’ residence and a quantity of Canadian currency was seized. The mle will be appearing in bail court Monday morning.
The female was charged for possession of crack cocaine and released on a promise to appear with conditions and will appear in a Barrie court in September.
