On August 27, 2015 a business on Elm St. in Durham reported the theft of 3 truck batteries from a vehicle parked on their property. As a result a 25 year male from Durham and a 24 year old male from Durham have been charged with theft under $5000.00 and possession of property obtained by crime under $5000.00. They were both released on a promise to appear and officer in charge undertakings with a first appearance date of Oct 5, 2015. A third suspect is being sought by police.
