On September 12th at approximately 1:30 a.m. police responded to the Big Bear convenience store on Highland Road East in Kitchener. Four suspects wearing masks had robbed the store clerk at gunpoint before fleeing on foot. A quantity of cash and cigarettes were taken. The victim in the incident was not injured. A number of similar incidents have recently been reported to police in the region. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Waterloo Regional Police Service at 519-653-7700 and report suspicious activity if observed.
