The London Police Service is requesting assistance with identifying who is responsible for a recent assault that occurred at a local licenced establishment.
On Monday, August 10, 2015, police were called in relation to an incident that was reported to have occurred at Barney’s, located at 671 Richmond Street, the day prior between 12:45 a.m. and 1:30 a.m.
It was reported by the 22-year-old male victim that he was punched in the face once, knocking him to the ground inside the establishment near the ‘server entrance’. He was provided first aid by staff and declined the suggestion of EMS being called at that time. He sought medical attention the next day and found that he had a fractured orbital bone, nerve damage, and a concussion.
The investigation is continuing. Police are encouraging anyone who was there that night, who hasn’t spoken to police, to call the London Police Service at (519) 661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Information can also be sent in on-line anonymously to www.londoncrimestoppers.com.
