On Tuesday, September 23, 2015, just before 5:00 a.m.; police stopped a vehicle at the intersection of Bayfield Street and Cundles Road, City of Barrie, for a traffic violation.
Upon approaching the vehicle police were met with a pungent smell of marijuana. Further investigation led to a search of the vehicle and police seized a significant quantity of marijuana and MDMA (ecstasy) pills.
The 37-year-old,Waynefield, male has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking x3 and possession of controlled substance x3.
The male was released on a promise to appear and will appear in a Barrie Court in October.
