The Waterloo Regional Police Service is currently investigating two separate thefts of CAT backhoes from construction sites in the City of Waterloo. The first incident occurred on October 25, 2015 at approximately 9:35 am., The backhoe was taken from the construction site on King Street North in the city of Waterloo, near the expressway overpass. The second incident occurred at the intersection of Caroline Street and Allen Street at approximately 10:45 on Sunday October 25. Police are also asking that anyone with information in regards to these thefts contact North Division at 519-650-8500 ext 6399 or if suspicious activity is observed to contact police.
