On October 28, 2015 at 1:40 a.m., the Guelph Police were in a parking lot on Silvercreek Parkway South and observed a male walk up to another male and punch him in the face. The male then started to walk away when police approached and attempted to arrest him. The male pulled away from police and was arrested after a short foot pursuit. A search subsequent to his arrest discovered a small quantity of Marihuana.
Joshua Wilson, 22 years of Fergus has been charged with assault, resist arrest and possession of a controlled substance. He will appear in court on November 27, 2015.
