Occurrence Type: Drug Trafficking Leads to Outstanding Warrant

On Monday November 2, 2015 shortly after 8:00 p.m., members of the Barrie Police Street Crime Unit had been conducting an investigation in the downtown core.
The investigation led to a 37-year-old, Barrie female being arrested and charged for trafficking and possession for the purpose of trafficking, a schedule I substance. Further investigation found the female was wanted on an outstanding warrant with South Simcoe Police.
The female was held for bail and will be appearing in a Barrie Court Tuesday morning.
