Teen Killed In Collision – 18 Year Old Huron East Resident Facing Impaired Driving Causing Death Charge

(HURON EAST, ON) – A fatal motor collision investigation led by the Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Crime Unit has resulted in charges being laid against an 18-year-old driver. On October 3, 2015 Huron County OPP officers and investigators from the OPP West Region Technical Traffic Collision Investigation Team (TTCI) team attended the scene of an early morning fatal crash that took place on Maple Keys Line. An 18-year-old male passenger died at the scene and another 18-year-old male passenger remains in hospital with serious injuries.

As a result of the investigation, police have charged 18-year-old Cullen DONEGAN from Huron East with:

Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle Causing Death

Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle Causing Bodily Harm

Impaired Driving Causing Death

Impaired Driving Causing Bodily Harm

Fail To Wear Seat Belt Assembly

He has been released from custody with a court appearance scheduled for December 7, 2015 at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich.
