It is believed that only 8 people carried out the attacks that killed over 125 on 13Nov2015 in France.
ISIL has claimed responsibility for the attacks in France. These types of attacks are meant to divide and demoralize a population. Many in France know this, and opened their doors to those in need and sang their anthem as they left the soccer stadium in a act of defiance to the attack.
Racists and bigots will likely seize this opportunity to close more borders and fuel fear, as a terrified and uneducated/uniformed population will sign blank cheques and surrender their Liberties.
There are already comments on social media that Canada should close our borders to Refugees. Do they not know why the Refugees are fleeing that part of the world? It’s because of these 8 people, and their morally bankrupt cohorts that go around killing people.
These attacks should motivate even more Canadians to help Refugees protect their families from these maniacs. These attacks will either want you to close Canada’s borders, or open your home and heart to these Refugees. Which do you think is right thing to do?
