(Ottawa)— Today, the Ottawa Police Service Guns and Gangs Unit charged an Ottawa man with firearms offenses. Early this morning, police received a call for service about a man walking with a firearm.
The male was located in the ByWard Market area by Patrol Officers at approximately 2:00am. While dealing with the male, officers seized a loaded handgun.
Jesse KENNEDY-ROY, 20 years old, of Ottawa has been charged with:
Possession of a Loaded Firearm
Carrying a Concealed Weapon and several other firearms related offences.
He is scheduled to appear in court today.
