(MUNICIPALITY OF MEAFORD, ON) – On Friday, November 27, 2015 at approximately 10:21 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attended a Nelson Street apartment building in the Municipality of Meaford after a resident reported feeling threatened by a male who had followed him into the building and continued to intimidate him before entering one of the units.
The suspect, who police identified as 26-year old Jacob Ericson GREEN, was wanted by Grey County OPP for assault cause bodily harm in connection to an incident that had occurred in the Township of Georgian Bluffs on November 11, 2015. He was also wanted by the Owen Sound Police Service.
GREEN, who was attempting to hide inside one of the units, was arrested without incident. He was found to be in possession of a small quantity of marihuana at the time of his arrest.
A bail hearing is scheduled for December 1, 2015.
