London Police Service is requesting assistance with locating a wanted individual.
On October 9, 2015, police were called to a residence on Grey Street in relation to a home invasion where a female victim was assaulted by an adult male and an adult female. The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries. She was bound, and items from her home were taken. The female suspect, Elizabeth Harris (30 years of London), has since been arrested and charged and the male suspect is still outstanding. As a result of this investigation, Leonard Nelson Peters (25 years of London) is currently wanted for the following Criminal Code of Canada offences:
– Robbery/theft from person with violence, contrary to section CC 343(b);
– Forcible confinement, contrary to section CC 279(2); and
– Fail to comply with conditions of undertaking, contrary to section 145(5.1).
The public is urged to refrain from approaching this male, as he should be considered armed and dangerous. If seen, call 911 immediately.
