London Police Service is requesting assistance with locating a wanted individual.
On November 17, 2015, police were called to the Mac’s Milk Variety store located at 507 Salisbury Street in relation to a Robbery. A male had entered the store with his face covered and armed with a handgun. He assaulted the clerk of the store then fled with cigarettes and an undisclosed amount of cash. The victim sustained minor injuries. As a result of the investigation, Wesley Joseph Peters (23 years of London) is currently wanted for the following Criminal Code of Canada offences:
– Armed robbery, contrary to section 343(d);
– Use disguise, contrary to section 351(2);
– Use imitation firearm, contrary to section 85(2);
– Utter threats to cause death, contrary to section 264.1(1); and
– Assault with a weapon, contrary to section 267(a).
The public is urged to refrain from approaching this male, as he should be considered armed and dangerous. If seen, call 911 immediately.
