While investigating a noise complaint on December 27 2015, a Waterloo Regional Police Officer and a City of Kitchener By-Law Enforcement officer were assaulted. As a result of the assault a 48 year old Kitchener man will appear in court to face charges of Assaulting a Peace Officer X2. The police officer suffered a hand injury as a result of the subsequent arrest while the By-law officer was not injured. The accused was not injured as a result of the interaction.
