Friday, January 1, 2016, at approximately 12:35 a.m., police responded to Double-Double Pizza on Kingsway Drive, Kitchener for an assault. Police arrived and observed the subject male in the kitchen area of the restaurant. Police was arrested and escorted the male out of the restaurant. A Kitchener 33 year old Kitchener male was charged with two counts of Assault, three counts of Possession of Controlled Drugs, and Breach of Probation. The employees did not sustain any injury as a result of the incident.
