Just when you think North Huron council can’t do anything more to silence the Public or Press, they strike again. Some councillors not only want to ban Press and Public Gallery questions and comments from meetings, they want to eliminate the Press and Public from recording these Public meetings.

The CAO has also received some comments from members of council regarding prohibiting audio video recording of council meetings, other than the official version. Council may wish to have some discussion on this, and consider directing the Clerk to amend the by-law accordingly.
