On February 1, 2016 at approximately 11:20 a.m., a 23 year old male was observed carrying a rifle through a parking lot of a business located on Frederick Street in the city of Kitchener. Police responded and arrested the male without incident. For safety a local Public School on Frederick Street was put on a hold and secure until the male was arrested. The male was charged with numerous weapons and drug charges and was held pending a bail hearing. Police would like to thank the public for their vigilance and assistance in locating this male.
