(WASAGA BEACH, ON.) – On February 8th at approximately 1:30pm, members of the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police, along with other emergency responders attended 818 Mosley Street for reports of a motor vehicle into a building. The building at 818 Mosley is a strip mall property. One of the tenants at that location is Canada Post.
When officers arrived at scene it was confirmed that a silver sedan had driven into the wall directly in front of the Canada Post store front. The impact caused minor structural damage to the building. There were no injuries to patrons inside the Post Office.
The elderly female driver of the involved motor vehicle was taken to Collingwood Hospital for observation but there were no signs of injury. A possible medical condition and age are believed to be contributing factors in the collision.
