(ST.MARYS, ON) – On Friday February 05, 2016, shortly before 9:30 p.m., Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were called to the Pyramid Recreational Centre where a vehicle had been damaged.
Upon police arrival it was noted that the front windshield of a car had been smashed. Police spoke to the victim as well as witnesses to the incident. A determination was made as to the person responsible for the damage.
A short time later, the male youth responsible for the damage was arrested near his home in St.Marys for the offence of mischief under $5,000 The youth was released in to the custody of his parents. The Youth Criminal Justice youth diversion program will be utilized to for the youth.
