Speed limits are set where they are for safety reasons or hidden drives or just the conditions of the area. Please respect the speed limits set.

So you have an idea 70 km/h in a 50 km/h is a fine of $95 and three demerit points, 80 km/h in a 50 km/h zone is $220 and four demerit points. The lasting effect this has on your licence and insurance is expensive.
