(LUCAN BIDDULPH, ON) – On February 22, 2016, the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of mischief to a golf course.
Between 12:00 a.m. on February 18, 2016, and 12:00 a.m. on February 20, 2016, unknown person(s) snowmobiled at a golf course in the 15000 block of Elginfield Road.
The snowmobile(s) caused extensive damage to the 14th green.
The Motorized Snow Vehicles Act states:
Permit needed for driving
2. (1) The owner of a motorized snow vehicle shall not,
(a) drive the motorized snow vehicle; or
(b) cause or permit the motorized snow vehicle to be driven,
except under the authority of a permit for the motorized snow vehicle issued or validated under subsection (3) or except on lands occupied by the owner of the motorized snow vehicle. R.S.O. 1990, c. M.44, s. 2 (1)
