(SOUTH HURON, ON) – A missing person investigation that commenced on September 23, 2019 by Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) for 23-year-old Quintin SMITH of South Huron is now entering its second week.
As the circumstances surrounding the male’s disappearance are considered suspicious, the investigation is being conducted by members of the Huron County OPP Major Crime Unit and OPP West Region Criminal Operations, under the direction of Detective Inspector Pete Liptrott of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB).
Quintin was last seen during the early morning hours of Saturday, September 21, 2019 at a gas bar at the north end of Exeter. He was seen carrying a gas can and wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, black jogging pants, baseball cap and a backpack.
He’s described as being a white male, about 5′ 10
