Occurrence Type: Breach of an Undertaking

On Thursday, March 4, 2016, police had been patrolling the area of Berczy Park, in the City of Barrie. Officers located a 16-year-old Barrie female who was a suspect in a theft.

The youth was arrested for breach, as she had been found with person(s) she was not to associate with, as per her release conditions. Further investigation into the allegations of theft is ongoing.

She was arrested and transported to the Barrie Police Station and will appear in bail court Friday morning.

Date: Thursday, March 3, 2016 – 3:15pm

On Thursday, March 3rd, 2016 at 3:15pm a 32 year old Barrie female was arrested at the Court House located at 75 Mulcaster Street, in the City of Barrie. She drew the attention of officers sitting in the hall yelling and causing a scene. Immediately it was evident the female had been drinking due to the strong smell of alcohol, her slurred speech and inappropriate behaviour. The female was known to the Barrie Police Officer at the Court House and it was soon confirmed she was on Recognizance of Bail from January 2016 to not be outside her house with alcohol in her body. She was placed under arrest and held at the Barrie Police Station to sober up and attend bail court Friday.
