(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) – On Wednesday March 02, 2016 shortly before 3 p.m. a Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer pulled over a vehicle on Wallace Ave South near Hutton Street in Listowel. The driver of the vehicle was unable to produce the required documentation for the car he was operating.
The officer subsequently ran the three occupants of the car on the Canadian Police Information Centre database and discovered that the male passenger was wanted by another police agency. The wanted male was arrested and his property was searched. A search of his person, property and the interior of the vehicle resulted in the find of Methamphetamine, Cannabis Marihuana, Oxycodone and stolen property.
The estimated street value of the drugs exceeds $9,000
Over $2,000 worth of cash was also seized by police.
The three occupants of the vehicle, 26-year-old Nicole Julianne ALBANESE of no fixed address, 38-year-old Kyle R SHOLDICE of Waterloo Region, and 38-year-old Trevor Jody GOWING of no fixed address have all been charged with the following Controlled Drugs and Substances Act offences:
Possession of Schedule I substance (Methamphetamine) for the purpose of trafficking.
Possession of Schedule II substance Cannabis Marihuana under 3 kg for the purpose of trafficking.
Possession of Schedule II substance Cannabis Resin for the purpose of trafficking.
Possession of Schedule I substance Oxycodone for the purpose of trafficking.
They have also been charged with the following Criminal Code of Canada offence:
Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
Trevor Jody GOWING faces an additional Criminal Code of Canada charge:
Breach of probation
All three accused were held for a Bail Hearing in Stratford on Thursday March 03, 2016.
At this Bail Hearing, Nicole Julianne ALBANESE and Kyle R SHOLDICE were released on a Recognizance of Bail, ordering them to appear at the Ontario Criminal Court of Justice in Stratford on April 04, 2016, where they will answer to their charges.
At this Bail Hearing, Trevor Jody GOWING was remanded into custody. He has been ordered to appear via video at Stratford Bail Court on March 10, 2016, where he will answer to his charges.
