On the 4th of March, 2016 a Chatham-Kent Police Service court officer observed a female walking around inside the court house whom she believed had a warrant for her arrest. A CPIC check was conducted and information was received that the Leamington OPP held an arrest warrant for the 48 year old Chatham woman. Subsequently, at 12:09 pm the female was arrested and turned over to the OPP.
Fail to Comply
On the 15th of December, 2015 a 35 year old Blenheim man was released from custody on a Recognizance of Bail by a Justice of the Peace. One of the conditions of the recognizance was that the accused was to report to the Chatham-Kent Police Service, Blenheim office, every Monday between 8am and 4pm commencing the 21st of December, 2015. Unfortunately the male fail to report on the 8, 15, 22 and 29 of February, 2016 as required. Therefore a warrant for his arrest was issued. On the 4th of March, 2016 at 11:39 am the accused turned himself into the Chatham-Kent Police Service, Blenheim station and was later transported to court.
Break and Enter
On the 5th of March, 2016 at 1:26 am members of the Chatham-Kent Police Service attended 280 Grand Ave. E., Chatham; regarding a break and enter to the business. Upon arriving officers located damage to an exterior door valued at approximately $100. Through the course of the investigation officers were able to identify one of the parties responsible. At 3:18am a 30 year old Chatham man was tracked down and arrested for the offence of Break and Enter and later released with a future court date.
Intoxicated Party
On the 5th of March, 2016 at 3:06am the Chatham-Kent Police Service attended in the area of Park St. and Adelaide St., Chatham regarding two females fighting. Upon arrival officer located an intoxicated female who was unable to care for herself. The 51 year old Chatham resident was arrested and held until sober.
