(BRANT TWP, ON) – On October 8, 2019 at 12:57 a.m., the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a business alarm in the 1600 block of Bruce County Road 4 in Brant Township. Officers responded and found a male on the premises. He ignored officer’s verbal commands and was placed under arrest after a brief struggle.
Twenty-seven-year old Shawn OEHRING of Brockton was charged with break and enter, possession of break-in tools, resist a peace officer and fail to comply with recognizance of bail. He was held in custody pending the results of a bail hearing scheduled for October 8, 2019.
