Driver and passenger were travelling north along Scott Street, Kitchener and they were looking for a business. They drove past the business and the driver reversed to access the parking lot. As vehicle was reversing, a pedestrian was struck. The pedestrian had been crossing Scott Street mid block from the west side to east side. The pedestrian, a 56 year old Waterloo resident, was transported to the Grand River Hospital were she was admitted with non life threatening injuries. The 58 year old driver from Kitchener was charged with Careless Driving.
