(SOUTH HURON, ON) – On October 21, 2019, at approximately 4:15 p.m., Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) members responded to a wooded area in the northwest section of Exeter following the discovery of a deceased person laying underneath an all-terrain vehicle.
Members of the Huron County OPP Major Crime Unit, OPP West Region Criminal Operations, OPP Forensic Identification Services (FIS), West Region OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) Team are investigating the circumstances of the death, under the direction of Detective Inspector Pete Liptrott of OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB), with the assistance of the Office of the Chief Coroner and the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service.
