Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police investigators have charged a four year member of the Service in connection with an investigation into an off-duty matter.
Constable Grant Worrall, a crime management team officer assigned to North Division, has been charged with Theft Under, Possession of Stolen Property and Mischief to Data.
The alleged incident occurred on March 19, 2016 at a licenced establishment in Kitchener.
The officer is scheduled for an appearance in the Ontario Court of Justice in Kitchener on Friday May 20, 2016.
Additionally, the Waterloo Regional Police Service Professional Standards Branch will be conducting a review of the circumstances.
While the investigation continues, the member has been reassigned to administrative duties within another Division.
