On Monday 02 May 2016 at approximately 4:25pm the Owen Sound Police, Fire and EMS responded to a 2 vehicle collision that occurred in the 900 block of 8th Street East.
A 21 year old Dundas Ontario male driving a 2007 Toyota Camry was east bound in the 900 block of 8th Street East when he attempted to turn left into a private drive. The male turned into the path of a 48 year old Owen Sound female who was travelling west bound in a 2012 Dodge Carvan. The force of the collision caused the airbags in the Dodge to inflate. The female suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
The male was charged with; turn not in safety contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
