(TOWNSHIP OF CHATSWORTH, ON) – On May 23, 2016 at approximately 3:07 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) observed a 2003 Volvo vehicle weaving and travelling at variable speeds while southbound on Hwy. 10 in the Township of Chatsworth.
The officer stopped the vehicle on Hwy. 10 in Berkley and found that the driver had been drinking alcohol. After failing a roadside breath test, the driver was arrested for impaired driving and transported to the Chatsworth OPP Detachment for further breath tests, which he failed.
60-year old Fernando IANNILLI of Mississauga, Ontario was charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and with having more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in his system.
He is scheduled to appear in court on June 23, 2016 in Owen Sound.
