(SOUTH BRUCE PENINSULA, ON) – On May 26, 2016 at 9:01 p.m., the Bruce Peninsula Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with the South Bruce Peninsula Fire Department and Bruce County Emergency Medical Services received a call for a structure fire on Municipal Road in the Town of South Bruce Peninsula.
The structure, a barn, was fully engulfed when emergency services attended the scene. The barn contained equipment and hay. No persons or livestock were injured in the fire. The South Bruce Peninsula Fire Department was able to contain and fully distinguish the fire.
The Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office (OFM) was notified as the fire is deemed suspicious.
It is unknown the total estimated amount of damage.
