(SOUTH BRUCE PENINSULA, ON) – On June 2, 2016 at 8:59 p.m., a Bruce Peninsula Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer stopped a black 2009 GMC Acadia for driving more than 50 kilometers over the posted speed limit, on 6 Highway, in the Town of South Bruce Peninsula, ON. Police seized and impounded the vehicle for seven days. A 32-year-old driver from Ancaster, ON, has been charged with race a motor vehicle, fail to surrender licence, fail to notify change of address and fail to have an insurance card. He is scheduled to appear at the Owen Sound Court of Justice on July 18, 2016 to answer to the charges.
