On June 7, 2016 at 11:15 p.m., the Guelph Police went to Victoria Road North for a two vehicle collision. It is alleged that a silver BMW travelling south at excessive speed on Victoria struck the rear of a Blue Nissan also travelling south.
The driver of the Nissan, a 38-year-old Guelph female was transported to Guelph General Hospital with minor injuries.
The driver of the BMW, a 17-year-old Guelph male, has been charged under the Highway Traffic Act (HTA) with careless driving.
The driver of the Nissan was determined to be a suspended driver and was subsequently charged with driving under suspension (HTA).
