Incident: On Saturday, June 11, 2016 at approximately 6:30 a.m. a business on Market Street South contacted Community Patrol Officers as a man was in the store acting in a strange manner. The man had lots of belongings with him and was changing his clothing inside the business. Community Patrol Officers attended and investigated. Police located the man and investigation revealed that the man was wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court after a theft charge. At this point the man fled from police on foot in an attempt to escape being arrested. After a short foot pursuit, police arrested the man. As a result, a 23 year-old Brantford man stands charged with failing to attend court. He was held for a bail hearing.
