(MUNICIPALITY OF WEST PERTH, ON) – On Tuesday, June 21, 2016, the Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) executed a Warrant to Enter Dwelling-House at a residence on Trafalgar Street, in Mitchell.
A Controlled Drugs and Substances Act warrant was also executed, which resulted in the seizure of methamphetamine, and marihuana. The estimated, combined street value of the seized controlled substances is $326.00 Police also seized a “push dagger”, and a “morning star” (prohibited weapons).
Police have arrested and charged 42-year-old Jeffery John BRUNNER of the Municipality of West Perth with the following offences:
-Possession of Methamphetamine, contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
-Possession of Marihuana, contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
-Fail to comply with recognizance, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
-Possession of prohibited weapon (2 counts), contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
He has been held in custody and is to appear at a bail hearing on Wednesday, June 22, 2016, at Stratford Bail Court.
