At approximately 3:44 pm a Chev Impala was travelling westbound on 10 th Street East and upon reaching the intersection of 3 rd Ave E proceeded to make a left turn. The vehicle proceeded into the path of a Chev Avalanche pick up truck. The two collided with the force of the impact causing them to collide with a stopped Ford Edge waiting to proceed northbound at the intersection. The collision resulted in major damage to the vehicles with two vehicles requiring tows. Two people were transported to hospital with undetermined injuries. The 45 year old Port Elgin man, who was driving the Impala was charge with Left turn fail to afford reasonable opportunity to avoid collision under the Highway Traffic Act.
