The Grey Bruce Health Unit is pleased to report assistance from the public and the media resulted in finding the owner of a dog involved in a biting incident in Meaford last Saturday.
The information confirms the dog is not infectious with rabies. By verifying the health of the dog, the victim avoids receiving the post-exposure rabies treatment.
