On July 27, 2016 members of the Guelph Police Child Exploitation Unit executed a search warrant in the north end of the city. The investigation was a result of a Cyber Tip from the United States of America. During the search of the home, electronic devices were seized.
42 year old Joshua Avery, of Guelph, was arrested and charged with the following offences:
Possession of Child Pornography
Distribute Child Pornography
Accessing Child Pornography
He will appear in court on September 13, 2016
