Three Charged With Breach, Identity Theft, Drugs, etc.

On July 26th 2016, police responded to a fraud in progress at Best Buy located at 28 Pinebush Road in the City of Cambridge. Officers conducted a traffic stop with the suspect vehicle leaving the parking lot and arrested three adults in relation to this occurrence. Investigation resulted in the seizure of approximately $11,500 in Canadian currency, $2,400 in American currency, a large quantity of fraudulent/forged government documents, credit cards, and cannabis marihuana.

The three accused, aged 18, 21, and 23 are facing charges including Fraud under $5000, Identity theft, Impersonation, Possession of identity documents, Possession of schedule II – Cannabis Marihuana, Possession of credit cards, and Breach of Recognizance. All three are being held on a Show Cause Bail Hearing. Two of the accused parties are from Brampton and the other is from Ottawa.
