On July 26th 2016 at approximately 5:45 p.m. a Break and Enter occurred at a residence on Rittenhouse Road, Kitchener. This incident was the result of an argument between two families.
The accused, a 36 year old Hamilton woman allegedly attended the Kitchener residence and threatened her son’s girlfriend and her mother with a machete after breaking into the home. The victims suffered minor injuries after a physical altercation took place inside the home however did not require medical treatment. The accused has been held in custody for a bail hearing and is charged with Break and Enter, Uttering Threats and Weapons Offences. All parties are known to each other and Police do not have public safety concerns as a result of this incident.
