On August 1, 2016, at approximately 8:45 p.m., police responded to a disturbance on First Avenue in Cambridge. One adult male was taken to hospital by ambulance with non-life threatening injuries. Police conducted a canine track in the vicinity of the disturbance in an attempt to locate the suspect, who was eventually apprehended. The victim and suspect are known to one another and there was no danger to the public.
