On Friday, Aug 5, 2016 at approximately 9:07 pm Police were called to an address on Mary St in regards to a disturbance.
A male was arrested for being intoxicated in a public place and was transported to the Barrie Police station.
The male was belligerent and difficult to deal with once back at the station. He smashed his head against the cell walls and pretended to lose consciousness. Paramedics attended the Police station, however, the male was uncooperative and refused treatment.
The male repeatedly told Police that he would burn down the house on Mary St and would shoot all of the occupants. Police spoke with the occupants who were uncooperative and charges were not able to be laid in relation to these threats.
The male also told Police that he planned to return to the station and shoot up the place” and that he was going to kill Police Officers.
The male was charged with uttering threats and held for a bail hearing.
